Ex-NFL great Lawrence Taylor jailed after crash on Palmetto

Former New York Giants great Lawrence Taylor was arrested Sunday night for leaving the scene of a crash in Miami-Dade County, according to jail records. Taylor, 50, was booked into jail at 9:57 p.m. and released a short time later on $500 bond. The crash happened about 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the Palmetto Expressway at Northwest 103rd Street, authorities said.
