5 Miamians charged with lying to receive housing assistance

Five Miamians have been arrested and charged with fraud and grand theft after a federal agency found they lied about their income to receive housing assistance, the Miami-Dade Police Department said. Phillip Dukes, Melinda Hughes, Carolyn Nesmith, Rhonda Robinson and Jessie Flowers each received government housing assistance after underreporting income, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development found.
